Now that you have the crop tool open, you'll notice a bunch of different overlays that you can use to help you crop your photo. There's the classic rule of thirds overlay, which divides your photo into nine equal parts and helps you align your subject with the intersections of the lines. Or, if you're feeling a little more adventurous, you can try out the golden ratio overlay, which is like the rule of thirds on steroids. It's a little more complicated, but trust me, it's worth it.
